It was fingers crossed for the weather but we were lucky - our visit to Waddow Lodge Garden went ahead without any rain and, indeed, the sun even came out for us to enjoy our tea and scones outside.

 

Peter Foley took us on a tour around his garden, imparting his vast knowledge of the plants and amusing us with his anecdotes.

 

So many different plants, some of them rare specimens and hidden corners of the garden to delight us made for a very enjoyable visit.  Thanks again to Sandra Thompson for organising.
